One Million Served

Some time around 9:00 p.m. Central tonight, May 3, 2008, my Sitemeter is going over the 1,000,000 visitor mark. These meters are an inexact science, but that does give me some gratification. There are sites out there that get hundreds of thousands of visits per day, so I definitely don’t have the big head about this, but I do appreciate your continued support, particularly as I blog a lot less these days than I did in the beginning.

I don’t know what the future of this blog holds after November, though I have a few ideas…but there will be time enough for that later. For now, I just say thanks for getting me into the seven-figure league…

Well, you can say you were - I don’t know exactly who was…might have been someone from New York City, but I’m not 100% sure…

From along time reader. Congrats.

BTW. Muffin had to be put to sleep recently just a few months short of her 22nd birthday. She was an old old kitty. We think she had a stroke.

Hey, congrats on being visitor number 1,000,000. The prize is a ten dollar bill, minus ten dollars shipping and handling…thanks for the good wishes from everyone (sorry to hear about Muffin - but you know, 22 years is a good run for a cat - I’m sure you have tons of great memories - nonetheless, it still sucks big time to lose a pet)…

Congrats, if I had the money I would purchase a long body Lincoln for you! Really man, it’s been a good run and I’m excited for a possible change of pace later this year. Good job Uncle Punk.
