Regardless of what happens in today’s NFC Divisional playoff game, the Dallas Cowboys just laid one of the most impressive drives in NFL history on the New York Giants. 20 plays, 90 yards, 10:28 off the clock…that’s nothing short of unbelievable…every coach’s dream, and something to warm the heart of this Cowboys fan…(and I’m no Johnny Come Lately…I’ve been watching the Cowboys since the early ’70s)…
UPDATE 5:12 p.m.: Wow…the drive of the year needed to be 30 seconds longer…New York answers in just 46 seconds…well, it was still an amazing drive…
UPDATE 6:49 p.m: What a waste…that was really the only good drive Dallas had. Poor play by the offensive line, poor coaching, too many penalties, and a rattled Tony Romo equals a quick exit for Dallas. I had a bad feeling about this game, given the lackluster performance by Dallas to end the season. Oh, well, it’s small consolation, but no one is going to beat New England anyway…

I think Jessica Simpson must have started watching the game near the end of the 3rd quarter.

Give me the 46 second drive any day. You can’t break an offense’s back by keeping them off the field, and I don’t think you break a defense by grinding 4.5 yards at a time.
