UPDATE 11:15 p.m.: Wow, we almost blew it! But we held on - HUGE win for my Texas Tech team. I was wrong about never beating a top 5 team, though - heck, I have a short memory - they flashed on the broadcast that we beat #4 Cal in 2004’s Holiday Bowl…

Well done, Raiders. You guys definitely dodged a bullet on that review of the catch in the endzone, but that’s just how the game goes. Congrats!

Yeah, I think he probably caught that, based on the replay. I also found out that Texas was ranked #4 when we beat them in 2002, but this was our first victory against a team ranked #3, in one poll, at least (none against #1 or #2, as of this date)…

Mark I’ve never seen the home crowd so electrified! I couldn’t have asked for a better final senior football game. Oh and rushing the field was fun as well ( Like you said we don’t get a chance to do that often).

Josh, Mason was there, as well (my nephew, for those that don’t know)…he also mentioned how electric the atmosphere was…
