For The First Time Since I Started This Blog…

…I am not a finalist in any category for the Weblog Awards. That’s okay…I didn’t earn it, and I didn’t lobby for it. This was, of course, the year that I decided to pull back a bit from blogging, and it showed. I have a very interesting set of loyal readers who comment frequently, and that’s good enough for me.

I can’t help feeling a teensy bit of the “I used to be somebody” blues, but you know what? I made the choice I had to make. It was give up the blog completely, or drastically reduce the level of posting, and I’m glad I didn’t give it up completely. Thanks again for sticking with me, and go vote on this year’s finalists - no sour grapes, there are some really amazing blogs out there!

I enjoy reading this blog. I don’t always agree with what you say, but you’re always reasonable. When blogs froth at the mouth I lose interest instantly.

I’ll keep you on my daily bookmark list until you get bored with it I suppose

Yeah, I know the feeling. I used to be a big wheel (OK, a little wheel), but now I’m looking for random Google hits. Whatever. I’ll keep stopping by here, buddy.

The pace has changed but the regulars have shown continued interest. This is still a fun place to visit. Keep it going; no apologies required.
