Mr. Murdoch, Tear Down This Wall!
Interesting short piece at Techdirt on one possible implication of the sale of Dow Jones to Rupert Murdoch: the demolition of the paid subscriber wall that shields most of the Wall Street Journal’s content from the huddled masses yearning to breathe the hallowed air of the Journal’s famed editorial page in its entirety, not to mention those really great, quirky Page 1 articles. Alas, my head tells me it won’t happen, but it sure would be great if it did…

Now if only billionaire media savy Rupert Murdock who owns News Corp, offered another massive money offer to the Owners of the NEW YORK TIMES, that no one could resist, then he could buy out this stupid paper and turn it into the once respected paper it was back in the 1950’s, by firing all the liars that have infested this once great NewsPaper.
Rupert Murdoch can turn something into a respectable paper? You mean respectable like the New York Post?
Good think you’re joking, Jake. I mean, you must be. Nobody could take nonsense like the comment above seriously.
I don’t know, Fargus. Think about how nice it would be to have more naked ladies in the Times.
