The Aftermath

Congratulations To Sometimes Sparring Partner Glenn Greenwald…

…on what is undeniably a pretty huge deal: a new book, from a big publishing house (Crown, in fact).  I came across it on Amazon, and it’s titled A Tragic Legacy: How a Good vs. Evil Mentality Destroyed the Bush Presidency, and due for release in mid-June (I’m not even sure the title and release date have been mentioned on Glenn’s blog yet - if they have, I missed it).

Wow.  I’m undeniably, officially, admittedly, insanely jealous.

I’m sure we’ll have opportunity to disagree (vehemently) again, but right now, I’ll just take the high road and say congratulations on the achievement…

Can we at least assume it’ll be about 500 pages longer than it needs to be to make his argument?

  2. 2 Sean P Says:

Anyone else notice that the title seems to be allusion to two books by Friedrich Nietzsche (ie: “The Birth of Tragedy” and “Beyond Good and Evil”)? So is Greenwald’s point going to be that Bush should be more like Nietzsche?

The presidency isnt over yet. But you can also look for my new book, “Scandal and Recovery in the Giuliani Years… a Speculative Look at Mid Presidency Media Tactics” to be released in july.

Also, don’t miss my upcoming thriller, “Peace, Prosperity, and Pomposity: How John Kerry Defied The Odds And Became The Greatest President Since Lincoln” (tentative release date: the 12th of Never)…
