Whoever Ahmadinejad was aiming his most recent missive towards, it certainly wasn’t the ostensible targets, the American people, because only the most rabid anti-Semites would respond to rhetoric like this:
What has blind support for the Zionists by the US administration brought for the American people? It is regrettable that for the US administration, the interests of these occupiers supersedes the interests of the American people and of the other nations of the world.
What have the Zionists done for the American people that the US administration considers itself obliged to blindly support these infamous aggressors? Is it not because they have imposed themselves on a substantial portion of the banking, financial, cultural and media sectors?
Staggering in its brutal hatefulness…the only surprise is that he didn’t trot out the blood libel…

I often find it useful to try to see things from another’s perspective, to try to understand their point of view, as a means to making sense of their argument and, usually, actions. I cannot, no matter how hard I try, understand the Arab/Muslim/Persian (or anyone else that fits) hatred of the Jewish people and the Israeli state. For what it’s worth, I cannot understand hating someone simply because of their race or where they happen to have been born.
I am left to conclude that such people have, as Kurt Vonnegut might say, faulty wiring.

tms, if you grant that these people make the Hatfields and McCoys look down right neighborly, then the root of semetic animus can be traced all the way to Issac (Abram & Sara’s son) vs the offspring of Abram & Sara’s Egyptian maid, Hagar, Ishmael.
Note the following prophecy:
This is why Muslim Arabs claim that Allah is the God of Abraham on one hand and why they are destined to be an irrational thorn in the side of civilization.
