Everyone Agree’s That Today’s Headline Is Iraq…
…but what is the headline? Is it the news that troop levels may increase? Is it the agreement between the Americans and Iraqis on milestones and the dreaded ‘timetable’? Or is it Bush’s abandonment of ’stay the course’ rhetoric?
Speaking of the latter, the Real Ugly American looks at the alternatives and decides, whether our rhetoric reflects it or not, “stay the course” is more pallatable than the alternatives…

Dmac, the Pipes article is interesting and makes some good points – but pull out of Baghdad completely? I’m not sure…my fear is that the security situation there, already tenuous, would completely spin out of control…and it’s hard to imagine the government not falling then…on the other hand, it might just hasten the inevitable…
Good News From Iraq Part #2
Seems that people almost “like” the bad news they keep hearing from the left media about Iraq, it justifies their anti-war philosophy, yet when I post some of the good news coming out of Iraq they get up in arms (no pun intended).
