Again, we see the Rovian strategy of hitting the Dems hard on security paying dividends:
Twelve Democrats sided with 53 Republicans in voting for the bill.
It’s a landmark moment for an embattled president whose party is supposed to be on the very edge of losing power.
I’ve stayed away from this issue for the most part up to this point, because, like most Americans, I want to get as tough as possible on terrorists and still preserve the things about our system that make it uniquely American. I’m still digesting info before I decide where I ultimately land, personally.
