The Race Is On

Something Positive, For A Change

Jeez, there’s a lot of ugliness in the air these days.  Fortunately, in America, the good always outweighs the bad.  There are some folks who do an awful lot of good for other folks who are finalists in the Dr. Pepper Community Service Awards.  The 2 organizations with the highest vote totals, as voted on by the public, will get $23,000 each to aid their organization’s excellent work.

My personal favorite is Manhattanville College’s ‘My Soldier’ campaign.  I’ve been a member for some time now, and I recommend it to you as well.  It’s a good cause, and you’re guaranteed to put a smile on the face of one of our outstanding military volunteers.  God bless ‘em all…and by all means, vote for your own favorite, there are a number of excellent organizations represented…
