An Undeserved Honor
I don’t care how well Zidane played in the quarter- and semifinals (and he did play well); the headbutt makes this award a bit of a joke…
On the other hand, the Raging RINOs always deserve your honor and attention – and they’ve just been sighted…
No excuse for Zidane. The player with the captains armband is supposed to be above such losses of temper and control. That he would be given such an award belittles true achievement and cheapens both the award and those giving it.
That said, it was a pretty darn good final. The first 50 – 60 minutes were played at an unbelievable pace.
