Kerry: Out By ‘07; Insurgents: Eh, ‘08 Will Do

Eleven Sunni insurgent groups have offered an immediate halt to all attacks — including those on American troops — if the United States agrees to withdraw foreign forces from Iraq in two years, insurgent and government officials told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

You will also find that in the run-up to the invasion and the chaotic negotiations immediately thereafter that the starved and tortured members of the Iraqi Communist Party were far, far to the “Right” of the Dems. Really this points up the limited value of a spectral political model but hey! A larf’s a larf!
