   I don’t know if prosecuting the NYT is worthwhile but justice should always be proportional.

   I recommend that the US simply declare it cannot defend everyplace, all of the time, and must prioritize, which we all know. Any defense of the NY Times facilities 229 West 43rd St NYC is likely to be aborted by leaks.

   So we will no longer attempt to do so.

   Besides those who work there do not believe they are in any danger since there is no GWOT.

   We are merely publicly acknowledging that we a “redeploying assets” to where they might more usefully be utilized.

   We announce this and expect teh NYT, Globe & LA Times to widely disseminate this news, because “…its the public right to know”. Its only incidental that Al Quedists now know they can plan operations against the facility at New York Times 229 West 43rd St New York without fear of interference. Other sites, The Boston Globe 135 Morrisey Blvd, Boston and the Los Angeles Times 202 W. First St. Los Angeles are other sites from which resources are being “redeployed”, as well.

   If some are in hypotheical danger, its the same as the NSA and SWIFT exposures. Its unfortunate but the price must be borne by a free society.
