And to those who express similar sentiments: Jill Carroll is not the enemy. The right to dissent is a precious one, and the fact that you bash her on the day she was released from nearly three months in captivity is, frankly, a disgrace. It is a happy day when ANYONE, of any political persuasian, is released from unjust captivity. If your heart doesn’t rejoice, perhaps you need to look inward…

You must admit, though, that her comments certainly suggested some sort of Stockholm Syndrome going on there. Probably still in shock -we’ll see what she says after a few months.

I need to look inward, because I would have been perfectly happy to see the rest of those CPT creeps head-chopped and would have not batted an eylid if that commie scumbad Italian reporter had been whacked.

Jill Carrol though just said what she had to to spare her life. I think it’s unfair to criticise her for what she said under threat of death.
