The Race Is On

Note To Debbie Schlussel

And to those who express similar sentiments: Jill Carroll is not the enemy. The right to dissent is a precious one, and the fact that you bash her on the day she was released from nearly three months in captivity is, frankly, a disgrace. It is a happy day when ANYONE, of any political persuasian, is released from unjust captivity. If your heart doesn’t rejoice, perhaps you need to look inward…

    Suspicion

What has become somewhat of a controversy since last night, is the video I have provided for you below (courtesy of Bareknucklepolitics, via LGF), and filmed by her Mujahideen captors shortly prior to her release, which shows her obviously keen to prai…

You must admit, though, that her comments certainly suggested some sort of Stockholm Syndrome going on there. Probably still in shock -we’ll see what she says after a few months.

The right to dissent is a precious one, and the fact that you bash her on the day she was released from nearly three months in captivity is, frankly, a disgrace. It is a happy day when ANYONE, of any political persuasian, is released from unjust captivity. If your heart doesn’t rejoice, perhaps you need to look inward… I mentioned nothing about the video - my chastisement was based on the fact that on the very day an American was released from captivity, Schlussel chose to heap all sorts of harsh venom on her head.
