I was looking forward to it, to be honest, but Al says it’s not to be:
Former Vice President Al Gore said Monday he’s not planning to run for president in 2008 but hasn’t ruled out a future in politics.
“I’m enjoying what I’m doing,” Gore told an audience at Middle Tennessee State University, where he gave a lecture on global warming.
“I’m not planning to be a candidate again. I haven’t reached a stage in my life where I’m willing to say I will never consider something like this. But I’m not saying that to be coy; I’m just saying that to be honest that I haven’t reached that point.”
Of course, you never say never in politics…

That’s not exactly a Sherman Statement.
I believe he will run and be the most formidable challenger to Billary by a long shot.
McCain vs. Gore in 2008 is a matchup that will shock the pundits! Who would’ve guessed?

Gore may run anyway, simply based on his extreme hatred of Bill and Hillary. After all, what did they do for him? Only gave him a huge base on which to coast to his Presidential victory, whereupon he proceeded to tank, big - time.
It would be great fun to see his ranting style on all of the networks, though.

How uncanny! I had a dream last night that it was McCain vs. Gore in 2008. I doubt this dream is prophetic because of a few unrealistic details:
1. McCain only won by a hair.
2. My husband and I voted by filling in half-sheets of yellow paper.
3. At a Barnes & Noble.
4. In Berkeley. Where I refuse to live ever again.
But hey, who knows?

Hey, if the Diebold conspiracy theorists have their way, you might be voting on that yellow paper yet!…
