Not to be a downer, but I lost my baby on Friday night–very sudden, good for her, bad for me–so hold the real beagle tight!

I have a beagle too. Wonderful dogs. He’s 13 and gettin’ up there.
The dog does a great James Carville imitation though… I am trying to get it on tape!
AE, I am so sorry. It is tough to lose a good friend.

Yeah, AE, I’m really sorry to hear that…I don’t even want to think about what I’ll do when this one’s time comes…it’s tough to lose a pet…you truly have my deepest sympathy…

Thanks, guys–there are few things in this life more rewarding than a good dog. I would have 10 if I thought the elephantspouse would put up with it…

The only problem with our canine friends is that they view their “site of dumpage” as an arbitrary choice. I have a doberman pinscher/arctic wolf mix that has created a virtual toxic waste zone in my backyard. Also, AE, very sorry to hear about your loss. It’s tough to lose your biggest fan.
