Well, no one could ever describe John McCain as a “generic” Republican. He’s far too liberal for that.

Shawn - If by “liberal” you mean “pro-life, pro-war in Iraq, fiscally responsible, and anti-same sex marriage”, then McCain is a regular loon of the Left. If your complaint is one stupid campaign finance law - that a Republican president signed! - then you are as delusional as the rest of the Republican blogosphere.
