McCain Does The Hillary Stomp
Long-time commenter Sean P pointed me to this new poll showing John McCain absolutely running away with a hypothetical matchup against Hillary Clinton, 52-36%; Sean points out that interestingly, and unusually, McCain does better against Hillary than the ‘generic’ Republican candidate…
Well, no one could ever describe John McCain as a “generic” Republican. He’s far too liberal for that.
Shawn – If by “liberal” you mean “pro-life, pro-war in Iraq, fiscally responsible, and anti-same sex marriage”, then McCain is a regular loon of the Left. If your complaint is one stupid campaign finance law – that a Republican president signed! – then you are as delusional as the rest of the Republican blogosphere.
This poll breaks my heart. I would also be interested in how they match up state to state and how legitimate the poll is?
