I got most of my partying out of my system, and these days I’m the kind of guy who, without ever swearing off alcohol completely, enjoys a quite occasional drink or two and not much else. Even when I did engage in heavier consumption, though, New Year’s was always a bit risky for a night out for my tastes, not to mention expensive and overcrowded.
So I’ll be ringing things in at home, and I’m okay with that. Many of you may be just preparing to leave for the evening. If so, be safe, don’t drink and drive, Happy New Year to you, and if you do get pulled over - for God’s sake, don’t say you’ve only had two beers…

Good for you Mark! I tend to stay close to home myself. There is just something disconcerting about driving on AMATEUR NIGHT!
Nice quiet evening, what with the fireworks ban - Thank you Gov. Perry!
