Nervous Times as PlameGate Investigation Nears Its End

Richard Stevenson writes in the New York Times today of a very nervous White House awaiting the end of the PlameGate investigation by Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald. Yesterday, Richard Cohen of the Washington Post took a ton of heat from the left when he suggested that Fitzgerald pack up his investigation and go prosecute some real criminals. Our good friend Tom Maguire says that Murphy’s law suggests indictments will go down today, since he’s out of pocket until Monday. Let’s hope not; the Iraqi Constitutional vote need to be the story of this weekend, and should Fitzgerald hand down indictments, the noise will drown out all else.     this is beyond confusing/murky.
