The despicable Armando gets in a two-fer today: first (and quite predictably) he’s disgusted that Donna Brazile declined to be partisan about Katrina (as Jeff at the Bernoulli Effect notes in this post, it’s amazing how all these small-government conservatives have suddenly popped up in the wake of Bush’s reconstruction speech); then he (and I’m laughing uncontrollably as I type this) claims that, because Mayor Bloomberg of NYC is unhappy that John Roberts didn’t write a love poem to the operators of abortion clinics, that shows that there is bipartisan opposition to the Roberts nomination. Ummm-hmmm…
There’s nothing quite as pathetic as seeing someone who is thoroughly licked in the throes of heavy denial. And yes, I’m enjoying every minute of it…
