Hundreds Dead in Tragedy: And It’s Not the Hurricane

Even as estimates rise to at least 250 fatalities from Katrina (a figure, unfortunately, that will doubtless rise), word comes of a huge tragedy in Iraq, where 647 religious pilgrims died in a stampede caused by rumors of a suicide bomber.
