The MinuteMan has the scoop…meanwhile, over at Huff’n'Puff, Cenk Uygur has perhaps the most unfunny comedy piece ever written. Some high(?)lights:
I think the press has been really tough on Karl Rove and the administration over this Valerie Plame scandal, so I wanted to come to their defense a little bit. First of all, Plame might have been a covert CIA operative, but she once sat in a desk and shuffled papers around. If you’re not shooting people in the field every day, then how do you go around with a straight face calling yourself a secret agent?
Secondly, Karl Rove was just trying to prevent the press from making yet another error by reporting on Ambassador Wilson’s claims. Joe Wilson was lying about his trip to Niger. The Iraqis were, in fact, trying to buy uranium to build nuclear weapons. That’s why we found all those nuclear bombs in Iraq labeled “Made in Niger.”
Sure, there was a memo circulating in the administration identifying Valerie Plame as a CIA agent. And it was marked with an “S.” “S” normally stands for “Secret,” but to be fair to Rove, he might have thought in this case, “S” stood for “Send to Reporter.”
You get it? Huh? Did you?…Freakin’ hilarious, this guy is…

And speaking of Rove, this was interesting. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/7/26/161729/354
It appears Rove is having an affair. Well, that’s family values for you. Actually I thought he was gay.

The style of “reporting” represented in that post is certainly up to the high journalistic standards that have been displayed so far in the Plame Game. I think the key phrase is “there is no evidence…”

Nancy, Nancy, I’m surprised…I thought you guys said, when Clinton cheated, that sex doesn’t matter? Or do you condemn Clinton for messing around with a barely out of high school intern? One or the other, Nancy, you can’t have it both ways…

Yawn….once again liberals are believing every rumor that comes along and repeating them as fact. You would think they would learn.
But even if he is having an affair, so what. If he lies about it under oath like Clinton did, I’ll look at it a little closer. Likewise if it turns out to be someone who is 18-20 years old.
Also Nancy is up to the liberals little tricks. Even if it is just a rumor about inappropriate behavior liberals will screetch about family values. Because a few individuals don’t hold up to the expected behavior they bash ALL conservatives. Frankly it is tiresome and doesn’t help your side any.

Nancy IS showing her ignorance, sort of. The rumour is Rove’s lover’s a guy!
Guess he’s practicin’ so he’ll popular in the Big House.
Whatever.
